211 is Help

Published February 6, 2023

“Help me if you can, I’m feeling down
And I do appreciate you being ’round
Help me get my feet back on the ground
Won’t you please, please help me”- The Beatles –HELP!

When John Lennon wrote this iconic song, it was a literal cry for help. Song writers have a way of verbalizing things that average people feel. At Wyoming 211, we have often taken calls from people feeling down and in need of a hand up.

When clients call, they are generally distraught, frustrated and overwhelmed. They don’t know where to start nor what is available to them. Our goal at Wyoming 211 is to improve the health and welfare of our clients by connecting them to appropriate services. No matter the situation, the specialists at 211 listen, they identify underlying problems, and connect people in need with resources and services in their community that improve their lives.

We are available for anyone (aging and disabled, veterans, homeless, vulnerable populations, LGBTQ+, and anyone else in need) in Wyoming. 211 Community Resource Specialists help simplify complicated processes and connect our clients to resources in their urgent times of need. We can help our neighbors find the right resources and make sure everyone has the chance to get their “feet back on the ground”.
