And a Happy New Year!

Wow. It’s a new year already! Time flies when you are having fun and getting so much accomplished. 2022 was a very busy year for Wyoming 211. We have continued to connect Wyoming citizens with the health and human services they need. This is possible through our ever-growing database of resources. In 2022, our database grew to over 2,600 available services in Wyoming. This opened the doors of possibility for so many in need.

Partnering with United Way Worldwide and Lyft, we offered a new program called RUTA- Ride United Transportation Access program. Through RUTA, we were able to provide transportation for those in need to the services referred to them. Many took advantage of this program offered in Laramie, Albany and Natrona Counties.

At the close of 2022, we added two new staff members to our team. We hired an Associate Director located in Sweetwater County and a Director of Development & Marketing in Laramie County. We are looking forward to seeing what all we can accomplish in 2023.

Wyoming 211 has some fantastic things in store for this year. We just launched a new website platform that is user-friendly and much more accessible. Soon, we will be updating our search engine to encourage an ease in looking for resources. We will also be starting an Ambassador program to help us spread the word about Wyoming 211.
