Wyoming 211 can connect individuals to over 2,600 programs over Wyoming. Services such as shelter, food, physical and mental health resources, employment support services, programs for children,
youth and families, support for veterans, seniors and persons with disabilities, and support for community crisis and disaster recovery can all be found in our database. No matter the situation, the specialists at 211 listen, identify underlying problems, and connect people in need with resources and services in their community that improve their lives.
In 2022, Wyoming 211 received 3,759 calls for help. This averaged out to be about 15 calls a day. While our total clients served was 2,703, male callers made up 35% of that total. While the resources given vary from one client to the next, we gave out over 8,613 referrals last year. About 21.2% of those referrals given last year were for Housing assistance, with Utility assistance just under that at 20.2%.
