How do you verify that the agencies in your resource directory are legitimate?
We work to ensure that organizations listed in our resource directory are credible and actively providing services. Agencies are asked to provide identifying information, including their Employer Identification Number (EIN), during the registration process. Our resource team reviews submissions and investigates any concerns or complaints received about a listed service. If an organization no longer meets our standards or cannot be verified, its listing may be inactivated from the directory.
Is the information available online the same as the information provided by 211 community resource specialists?
Yes. The online resource directory contains the same information used by our 211 community resource Specialists. If you need assistance finding services, navigating the directory, or locating specific resources, our specialists are available M-F from 8AM-5PM to help.
