In mid-January, Wyoming 211 gathered with Laramie County services providers to test our CommuniCare- our Community Information Exchange® (CIE) program. Casey Quinn, Wyoming 211’s Community Engagement Manager, guided Healthworks, Community Action of Laramie County (CALC), Meals on Wheels and Recover Wyoming in how to use CommuniCare and all of it’s functionalities.
The purpose of testing the Community Information Exchange® (CIE) was to showcase the user interface and capabilities to our service provider partners. We also used the time to gather opinions on the system and what needs changed and/or added. The testing enable us to initiate final steps of CommuniCare before the pilot kickoff.
Our partners and future users of CommuniCare gave incredible insight into the systems, and despite some minor issues with the system at the time of testing, showed extreme optimism and excitement for the Community Information Exchange® (CIE) and being able to utilize it in their own practices. In late February-early March, we will begin the pilot phase in Laramie County.
