National 211 Day
National 211 Day is an annual event designed to help inform people across the nation about non-emergency health and human services information and referrals that are available by contacting 211.

National 211 Day
Designated National 211 Day, February 11th is a day to inform people across the nation about non-emergency health and human services information and referrals available by contacting 211.
All 50 states have free 211 hotlines and websites. Dialing “211” provides individuals and families in need with a shortcut through what can be a bewildering maze of health and human service agency phone numbers.
Before Wyoming 211, there was no single, comprehensive statewide provider of information and referral for Wyomingites. With thousands of nonprofit organizations in Wyoming, plus scores of government agencies, finding help can often be confusing and intimidating. Now, Wyoming 211’s trained specialists are available to help people better understand their options and connect to the resources in their own communities. By simply dialing 211, those in need of assistance can be referred and connected to appropriate agencies and community organizations.
We have the honor of being recognized by Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon who signed the proclamation on February 18th, 2025 at 9:30AM-10:30AM declaring February 11th as “211″ Day. Please join us at the Capitol to celebrate the comprehensive statewide provider of information and referral that is Wyoming 211.
